The idea for GrandmaAndGrandpaGifts.com was born in 2009 not long after the birth of our first Grandchild. We are located in Illinois, the company is family owned, and like many baby boomers, we're now celebrating the Grand!
Many of today's Grandparents think 'rocking' means attending a concert or climbing a wall...perhaps with a beautiful Grandchild. We think it's time to break a few rules and some long-held stereotypes about Grandparents.
• Reasonably priced, boutique gifts for today's baby boomer Grandparents
• Every item we carry celebrates the unique relationship between Grandparent and Grandchild
• Some fun along the way while celebrating the Grand!
For the record, Kelly followed family tradition and chose the Grandmother name 'Nonnie' in honor of her maternal Italian Grandmother 'Nonna'. Kelly loves to hear her Grandmother name.
Baby boomer Rob was shocked to discover that he was old enough to be a Grandfather. Despite fond memories of his own Grandpas, Rob couldn't accept being called Grandpa before the age of fifty. He chose Papa as his Grandfather name. This didn't shock Kelly.
